One call, from anywhere in the state
Our home base is Kansas City, and that is where we know the hospitals best. But Medicare help does not need a drive. We help people in Wichita, Topeka, Lawrence, Manhattan, Salina, western Kansas and the small towns in between, all by phone or video call.
Here is what we do for you. We find the plans offered in your county. We compare plans from many insurance companies, not just one. We look up your doctors, your hospital and your medicines for each plan we offer. Then you choose. Our help is free, and the price of a plan is the same as going direct.
Kansas City metro towns
Each of these pages covers the hospitals people in that town use, the nearest Social Security office, and free local help.
Farther west, we also have a page for Topeka and Shawnee County. Want the whole metro at once? See Medicare help in Kansas City, MO and KS.
Hospital network guides
Medicare Advantage plans use networks, and hospitals can join or leave a network each year. These guides show what changed for 2027, with sources.
- Kansas City hospital networks for 2027. Both sides of State Line, including The University of Kansas Health System, AdventHealth and Saint Luke's.
- Topeka hospital networks for 2027. Hospitals in Topeka and Shawnee County.
- Medicare Supplement rules in Kansas. When you can buy a Supplement with no health questions.
A Medicare Supplement works at any hospital in the country that takes Medicare, so networks only matter for Medicare Advantage. Our doctors and hospitals page shows how we check.
A Kansas rule worth knowing
Some states have a yearly birthday rule or anniversary rule that lets you switch Medicare Supplement (Medigap) plans with no health questions. Kansas does not. The NAIC, the national group of state insurance regulators, lists no birthday or anniversary rule for Kansas in its May 2026 chart. Outside your 6 month Medigap open enrollment window, or a guaranteed issue right such as your Medicare Advantage plan leaving your area, a company can ask health questions and can say no.
So your first choice counts more in Kansas. Missouri, next door, has a yearly anniversary rule. Read Kansas Medigap rules or Missouri vs Kansas rules.

Questions people ask us
Do I need to live in Kansas City to work with you?
No. We are based in Kansas City, but we help people anywhere in Kansas by phone and video. Wichita, Topeka, Salina, Manhattan, Garden City or a small town in between, it works the same way.
Do you have offices in other Kansas cities?
No. Our only home base is Kansas City. Everyone outside the Kansas City area works with us by phone or video call, and you never have to drive anywhere.
Can you check my doctors and hospital if they are not in Kansas City?
Yes. Medicare Advantage networks are set by each plan, and we look up your doctors and hospital by name for the plans we offer in your county, wherever that is in Kansas.
Does Kansas have a birthday rule for Medicare Supplements?
No. Kansas has no birthday or anniversary rule. Outside your first open enrollment window, or a guaranteed issue right, a company can ask health questions. That makes your first Supplement choice in Kansas extra important.
Does it cost anything to work with you?
No. Our help is free, and the price of a plan is the same whether you enroll with us or go straight to the insurance company.
