Compare All Medicare Supplement (Medigap) Plans

Medigap plans are standardized, so a Plan G is a Plan G no matter which company sells it. The benefits are identical by law; only the price and the service differ. Here is how all ten plans stack up and which ones most people choose.

Why Medigap Is Easier Than It Looks

Medicare Supplement plans are labeled by letter, and the federal government sets exactly what each letter covers. That is the part that works in your favor: once you pick a letter, every insurer must offer the same benefits for that plan. So the real job is choosing the right letter for your needs, then shopping carriers for the best price on it. That is what we do for you, at no cost.

2026 Standardized Medigap Plan Comparison Chart

The chart below shows the benefits included in each standardized plan for 2026. A check means the plan pays 100% of that benefit. Only people first eligible for Medicare before 2020 may buy Plans C and F.

1 Plans F and G also offer a high-deductible version. In 2026 you first pay a $2,950 plan deductible, then the plan pays 100% of covered services for the rest of the year. High-Deductible Plan G does not cover the Part B deductible.
2 Plans K and L pay 100% of covered services for the rest of the calendar year once you reach the out-of-pocket limit ($8,000 for K, $4,000 for L in 2026) and the Part B deductible.
3 Plan N pays 100% of the Part B coinsurance, except for a copay of up to $20 for some office visits and up to $50 for emergency room visits that do not result in an inpatient admission.
Plans C and F are available only to people who became eligible for Medicare before January 1, 2020.

The One Date That Matters Most

Your Medigap Open Enrollment Period is a six-month window that starts when you are 65 and enrolled in Part B. During it, you can buy any plan with no medical questions and no health-based pricing. After it ends, in most states an insurer can review your health and decline you. If you are in that window now, it is the best time to lock in a plan. If you missed it, we can still look at your options and timing, including Missouri's Anniversary Rule.
